ORD - Ramp Agent Passenger
LOCATION
Chicago, IL
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Loads and unloads passenger baggage to/from aircraft.
- Loads and unloads, mail bags and other cargo to/from aircraft.
- Performs FOD walks prior to aircraft arrival and departure.
- Sets up in preparation for aircraft arrival.
- Prepares ground support equipment (GSE) for operation.
- Operates GSE, such as tugs, conveyors belts, and tow tractors.
- Prepares ramp for next arriving aircraft.
- Provides potable water, lavatory, and cleaning services to aircraft upon request.
- Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED; OR up to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES and REGISTRATIONS
- Valid State Driver’s License
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Security Clearance, (for airport security purposes) pass a 10-year background screening.
